• Welcome to St John's website.

We are a family friendly Anglican Church, part of the Diocese of Leeds, located centrally in Ben Rhydding at the foot of the beautiful Ilkley Moor.

Our vision is to be a growing Christian family that encourages each member to mature in faith and discern God's call, as we share God's  love and bring the benefits  of God's kingdom to our world.

We offer everyone a warm welcome to our services and have a mix of worship across the month with children's groups most Sundays. At the annual meeting in 2019 we had 157 adults on the electoral roll with  a good number of children.

We have a very well used Church Hall which hosts a wide range of events for our community including dance, music, arts, childrens groups and U3A events.

During the week we have Growth groups meeting in people's homes for fellowship and support.

For families, we run two midweek Toddler groups (term time) and Messy Church which meets bi- monthly  and our next Messy Church will be on Saturday 14th March from 3.15pm followed by a free pasta meal.

For those with additional needs, their friends and families we have The ARK. Our next ARK service is on Sunday 1st March at 3pm.

We also run a Care and Wellbeing  Cafe once a month - third Monday 1.30pm to 3.30pm - for those living with dementia and other related issues. A smaller group for older people, Cake and Chat, meets on a first Monday in a month 2pm to 3.30pm.
