Bradford Local Development Policy Consulatation

The City of Bradford is currently consulting on it's Core strategy development plan document. This consultation lasted from 28 October 2011 until 20 January 2012 (although comments received into February "will not be ignored"). It has major implications for Ben Rhydding and Ilkley if adopted in it's present form (as well as for the rest of the District) so it is really important that as many people as possible make comments as appropriate.

Essentially the plan envisages 1,300 new homes in Ben Rhydding and Ilkley. Follow this link to see exactly where they are being proposed (pages 22 and 23).

There are also 500 new homes proposed in Burley, 900 in Menston and 400 in Addingham.
